Discord Direct Messaging (DM) Moderation Policy
At Chaster, we uphold clear principles to govern interactions on both our Discord server and web platform. We believe in fostering a community where members can engage respectfully and responsibly. It's important to note that while we actively moderate our own Discord server and web platform, we do not directly moderate Discord DMs; this responsibility falls under the purview of Discord Trust and Safety.
Imagine you meet someone at a bar, and after they take you home, things don't work out as expected. In such a scenario, your recourse isn't to return to the bar and demand they be blacklisted. Rather, if the situation warrants, you involve the appropriate authorities. In the digital realm, Discord Trust and Safety act as the equivalent of law enforcement for DM interactions. They have the capability to investigate complaints within the proper context, ensuring accountability and safety.
Looking ahead, Chaster plans to introduce a feature allowing users to provide ratings for keyholders or wearers. Once implemented, this system will enable users to share feedback beneficial to others. In the meantime, if an interaction ends unfavourably, we recommend blocking the other party on Discord and Chaster to address your specific concerns effectively.
However, there is one exception to this policy, concerning the practice of financial domination (findom). This precautionary measure is essential to ensure transparency and protect our community from potential exploitation.
Any instances of findom activity where the user does not have the FINDOM label or a known FINDOM user initiating DM contact reported or detected may lead to warnings or bans at the discretion of moderators
