How do I install the Chaster application on my phone?

Chaster is a Progressive Web Application (PWA), a special type of website that allows your browser to store a copy of the app locally on your device. In fact, when you visit chaster.app on your phone, this already happens in the background. If your browser and operating system support it, you can also install the PWA directly to your home screen—just like a regular app—giving you quicker access with a simple tap.


📱 How to install Chaster on your phone


Android (using Chrome)


  1. Open chaster.app in the Chrome browser.
  2. You should see a prompt at the bottom saying "Add Chaster to Home screen". Tap it.
  3. If you don't see the prompt, tap the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  4. Select “Add to Home screen” from the menu.
  5. Confirm by tapping Add in the popup.
  6. Chaster will now appear on your home screen like a regular app.


💡 Tip: This also works in other Chromium-based browsers like Samsung Internet or Brave.


iOS (using Safari)


  1. Open chaster.app in the Safari browser.
  2. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. Optionally, rename the shortcut if you'd like, then tap Add.
  5. The Chaster icon will now be available on your home screen.


⚠️ Note: PWAs on iOS must be installed through Safari. Other browsers like Chrome or Firefox do not support this feature on iPhones.



Once installed, Chaster runs in full-screen mode, just like a native app, and works offline for many functions. Enjoy the convenience of instant access!
