Rules
1️⃣. Legal and Regulatory
💡 1.1. Follow Discord’s rules.
Please read the Discord Community Guidelines before entering the Chaster server (https://discord.com/guidelines). Here is a reminder of some Discord guidelines which apply here.
• The Chaster server is NSFW and contains adult content. Profile pictures may not contain adult content.
• Do not sexualize children in any way. You cannot share content or links which depict children in a pornographic, sexually suggestive, or violent manner, including illustrated or digitally altered pornography that depicts children (such as lolicon, shotacon, or cub) and conduct grooming behaviours.
• Do not share sexually explicit content of other people without their consent, or promote the sharing of non-consensual intimate materials (images, video, or audio), sometimes known as revenge porn.
💡 1.2. Don’t break the law.
• Do not organize, promote, or engage in illegal behavior. These activities are likely to get you kicked off Discord, and may get you reported to law enforcement.
💡 1.3. You must be at least 18 years old to access the server.
• The moderation team reserves the right to suspend access and verify the age of members who we think may be underage. Anyone that declines age verification when challenged will be removed from the server.
2️⃣. Respect
💡 2.1 Be respectful. Keep a healthy and pleasant discussion space for everyone. Don't insult people, and don't be hateful.
• Respect is a two way street:
• Do not be excessively annoying. You may not publicly criticise or insult other community members with malicious intent.
• Do not be easily annoyed. If someone says something you don’t agree with, don’t turn it into a heated argument.
💡 2.2. Use the pronouns listed on the server in dialogue with community members.
• If you mistakenly use incorrect terms when referring to others, apologise and avoid future mistakes.
• If someone innocently uses an incorrect pronoun, let them know respectfully without public escalation.
💡 2.3. Directed Public Play. Respect boundaries when engaging in public play.
• If you mistakenly engage someone in directed public play and they advise of a boundary, apologise and avoid future mistakes.
• If someone inadvertently engages in unwelcome public play, let them know by calling out your boundary respectfully without public escalation.
• Boundaries should be advised by posting "Boundary: Only my keyholder can headpat me". The keyword “Boundary” will be treated as a safeword for directed public interaction.
3️⃣. Rooms
💡 3.1. Post messages and other content in the appropriate place. Channels have a name and a description. Try to respect the topic of discussion.
4️⃣. Findom
💡 4.1. Findoms must enable the the Findom flag within Chaster. Findoms must not initiate DM contact with wearers.
• You are a findom if you request any form of gift or payment in association with your activity as a keyholder on the Chaster app or Discord server.
• ‘Initiating contact’ includes by sending a message request, via DM or via a friend request in Discord DM, or on the Chaster website. You may ask the user for permission to initiate a DM conversation in <#859511034342932480>
💡 4.2. Findom activity is not permitted within Discord.
• Discord does not permit sexual solicitation on Discord, which includes Findom related activity associated with Chastity.
• You may not post findom related links in your bio or any public channel, including payment processor links, wishlist or gift links, only fans links, or any other external website from which you benefit.
💡 4.3. Reporting Findom Violations
• Violations of this policy in Discord DM or a Discord bio should be reported to Discord - See this link for instructions on how to report https://discord.com/safety/sexual-solicitation-policy-explainer
• Violations of this policy on the Chaster Discord server after the date of publishing these rules on 20-Sep-2024 should be reported using <@&848887870391058483>
• Violations of this policy in the Chaster website should be reported by reporting a profile, a lock, or a message within the Chaster application.
5️⃣. Advertising and Spam
💡 5.1. You may not advertise.
• Advertising includes posting links to, or promoting, in public channels:
• Other Discord community servers.
• Competing chastity keyholding services.
• Any other external website from which you benefit, including wishlists.
• Advertising does not include posting links to, or promoting, products or services that you are not affiliated with.
6️⃣. Conflicts
💡 6.1. De-escalate. If a conflict happens in a public space, don’t escalate it.
• You may not deliberately try to escalate conflict.
• Examples include
• Dramatically raising a contentious issue after someone else has attempted to de-escalate
• “Calling out” someone for perceived minor issues over time
• Trying to goad another member into escalating an issue
• Ignoring attempts to move a conflict to a less-populated area
• Discussing moderator rulings and actions
• If you feel emotional and think you may escalate a conflict, stop. Take a little break, and come back later.
• Regardless of who is 'right' or 'wrong', a public conflict will always result in collateral damage to other unconcerned community members. Mods will always act to calm any conflict first, and investigate the issues afterwards.
7️⃣. Moderation
💡 7.1. Only moderators can enforce these rules.
• Moderators have been selected to perform moderation on the platform. Let them do their job. Others attempting to tell people what to do or what not to do causes arguments, and will not be tolerated.
• If you have a concern regarding a breach of the rules, you should instead contact the team as detailed in “Reporting Issues”.
• If you require the attention of a mod immediately (e.g. to calm an ongoing argument), DM an active online mod with 'URGENT' as the first word of your message.
• Mods are members of this community too. You can also approach us individually to talk about anything, outside of our role as mods.
Reporting Issues
💡 If you think someone has broken the rules, and want to report them, contact the team via <@575252669443211264>. If your concern relates to a moderator, send your report direct to <@685125079746609167>.
• The mod team will act on reports to identify the root causes of issues, and determine how to respond. This may include, but is not limited to the deletion of problematic material, temporary discord mutes, official warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
• Repeated infractions will result in an escalation of sanctions.
